Review: Gears 3 Forces of Nature DLC

G'day there everyone!

The 4th and final installment (for now) for Gears of War 3, Forces of Nature DLC brings 5 new maps to the multiplayer side of the game, bringing a fresh breath of air to the game, as well as bringing back the oldies that we all know and love.

This DLC is the final one involving those who bought the Season Pass but Epic has announced that there might be more for the future. Forces of Nature focuses directly on that; multiplayer maps with different weather conditions. The maps include three new maps called Aftermath (Floods), Artillery (Tornado) and Cove (Fog), and bring back two golden oldies Jacinto (Rainstorm and immulsion) and Raven Down (Snowstorm).
Not only this, but the DLC includes four new characters, new weapon skins and more.

The only issue so far is the spawning points; while the gameplay is still as fantastic as its always been, with this DLC, players can respawn right next to an enemy. While there is the Spawn Protection time limit for those camping at spawn points, if a player isn't quick enough, its a Gnasher or Sawed Off to the back of the head.

Otherwise, fans of the series are quite satisfied with the new addition to the game, while some continue to argue the price and the worth of it all.
If you like a nostalgic trip down memory lane of gaming and just some overall fun with Gears, than this DLC could be for you.

Out of 10, I gave the Forces of Nature DLC an 8.5/10

Good Points
+New Maps have change of pace from tradtional mappacks.
+Bring back best of the oldies.

Bad Points
+Dislodging Spawn points

The Forces of Nature DLC is out now for 800 Microsoft Points or free with the Season Pass
