Five Easy Achievements: Dead Space 2

G'day guys!

Probably the best horror game out on the market, the Dead Space series has made a hit with audiences since the very first game. Since then, movies, clips, arcade titles, all of the range of content have been released, both developing and enhancing the experience of the game.
With a hinted (but not yet confirmed) Dead Space 3 in the works, lets take a look back at the title before and snag some easy achievements!

(This FEA will have some achievements only for the DLC Severed. They will be marked with as such: *)

1: Romper Stomper
25 Gamerscore
This achievement is quite easy to get and able to achieve quite early on in the campaign. Simply stomp on 10 containers and there you have it!

2: Think Fast
15 Gamerscore
Once again, this achievement is available quite early on. When you gain control of Kinesis, kill 30 Necromorphs with Kinesis objects. Anything that you can pick up is a Kinesis object, but Necromorph blades or bones are easily the quick killer.

3: Skewered In Space
15 Gamerscore
While slightly tricky, this achievement asks you to impale a Necromorph into a decompression window and cause it to blow out. There are a few of these around the campaign, the closest most likely being Chapter 5. If not, simply look for a window with red markings of warning, take a Necromorph blade and hit anyone of those buggers into the window.

4: Collect Peng
20 Gamerscore
Its right in the name; find and pick up the Peng treasure. It can be found in Chapter 7, while rearranging the pannels to gain access to the Mainframe. In the second room (To the right) there is the four numeral pannels. Simply take one and rearrange that single one until it turns BLUE. Take the rest, place them in order until the rest turn blue and return to the changing pannel. A secret pannel will emerge, simply touch it, crawl through the vent and there's the Peng Treasure. Not only do you get a nice little money boost, but the achievement will pop when you place it into your inventory.

5: Peng Me Again *
20 Gamerscore
In the Dead Space 2 DLC, Severed, the Peng treasure reappears in Chapter Two. You can notice that you come across the Shower room that Issac Clarke goes through early through the main campaign. Head towards the vent shaft that Clarke uses and the Peng Treasure is hiding underneath the mops and buckets.

There are many more simple achievements to be had, such as Remember The Alamo*, Picking Favourites, Fully Outfitted and much more to discover, but for now, just allow yourself to become consumed by the ever growing world of Dead Space and don't forget, there are always things that go bump in the night....
